Dear Grandma and Grandpa,
It is hard to believe that I have been doing these stories for 1 year, Wow! However, this story is spooky. I do not suggest you read this alone. Here is how it all started. See last Halloween I went to a Pumpkin Patch.
So this year I had to return. It was so fun and there were so many things to do!
After sitting on that pumpkin for a while I saw something fun to do!
So I ran across the Pumpkin Patch and hopped on the horse (I didn't even fall off this time)!
Then I saw an opportunity to learn how to help Grandpa Krautschun and Uncle Bart, and I wrestled this here steer to the ground.
Grandpa Krautschun if you want to learn this trick, all you need to do is grab the bull by the horns!
Daddy wanted to teach me where pumpkins come from. It was really neat.
Then it was all aboard as me and daddy loaded up on a hay ride!
Grandma can you find me and Daddy on this Hay ride (I will give you a hint: we are the cute ones in the middle)? Mommy said Uncle Bart would like the picture with this tractor, it's a 4020.
Finally, it was time to pick out a pumpkin to take home! Boy, were they heavy!
I had to employ my Daddy's strength to get the perfect pumpkin.
All of that work caused me and Daddy to work up an appetite so we roasted some wieners by the camp fire!
And for dessert we roasted some marshmallows. Yummy!
I sure did have a blast at the Pumpkin Patch!
When we got home we started to carve the pumpkin into a Jack o'... something (I really can't say that big word).
Daddy let me have the top!
Then he gave me some guts!
I didn't really care for the guts.
But, neither did Daddy, so someone had to do the dirty work. So I finished cleaning out the Pumpkin.
When we finished it looked great and I loved it. Grandma and Grandpa you might want to find someone to hold onto right now!
Because this is the part of the story where it gets really scary! I mean really scary!
Once upon a time there was a Mad Scientist who was conducting some very bad experiments!
The Mad Scientist hooked up her machine to a baby duck and a baby frog and pulled the switch!
Look out!! The Mad Scientist has created a Drog or maybe a Fruck (be careful how you say that one). Everybody Run!
The Mad Scientist wanted to attempt another twisted experiment so she hooked a baby bunny and a baby cat up to her machine. And when she pulled the switch.....
She created a Bunat or maybe a Canny. Everybody Run!
The Mad Scientist had one more crazy experiment to run. This time she hooked a baby chicken and a baby frog up to her machine and pulled the switch.
This was the worst one yet, the Mad Scientist created a Chrog or maybe a Fricken (be careful on this one too). Everybody Run!
And the Chrog or Fricken left the lab and is on the loose right now Grandma and Grandpa. You better run!
Alright, try breathing slowly Grandma and Grandpa. I was only tricking you. There really wasn't a Mad Scientist and all of those creatures were just me dressed up. Happy Halloween!
Later that night me and Mommy embarked on a Journey. Mommy had to wear a coat, but us chickens can just stay warm with our feathers.
I did not totally understand where we were going and why. But Mommy assured me it would be fun.
As we went from house to house I heard all of the things I already knew, "I was cute!" In fact, so cute people just kept giving me candy!
When I got home I looked deep in my pumpkin bucket!
And realized this little chicken had done alright! I liked the suckers the best.
